Voices API

Lists every value voice accepts on the Announcement API and the Reminders API: your own voices first, then the built-in Alexa voices. Handy for building a voice dropdown in another app.

Field Description
customVoicesEnabled Whether your plan includes your own voices. When it’s false, custom voices still appear but speak in their Alexa fallback voice.
type custom for your own voices, alexa for built-in Alexa voices.
id Pass this as voice.
name The voice’s name.
provider Custom voices only: where the speech is generated, currently elevenlabs.
model Custom voices only: the ElevenLabs model the voice uses.
fallbackVoice Custom voices only: the Alexa voice used if the clip can’t be generated. default means Alexa’s default voice.

Takes the same token parameter / Authorization header as every other endpoint and returns the same 401 errors. Listing voices doesn’t count against your monthly request limit.
